Hello Hughes Brothers.
I have been to your shows twice so far, and I've enjoyed them as well as recomend your show to those I see. All of you are quite talented. Have you thought of auditioning of the show America's got Talent? If the other large talented family made it to the final 10, you could win it.

Julie,
We did have the same opportunity to audition as that "other" family. We received an email inviting us to the audition here in Branson. We talked about it and decided that it may or may not be a good thing for us to get involved with the show. In the first season of the show we did not like a lot of the acts that they let on the show. Also, we felt like the judges were a bit unpredictable. When some who had talent were "X"ed and others who had no talent, but showed a little skin, made it to the next level. We did not feel that this show exemplified "Great American Talent".
The second season I feel was better than the first. More talent... less fluff. Still I'm not sure if we would be interested or not. If we did get on the show, we wouldn't take the rest of the family since one of the judges is very against having children be a part of the act.
Another option might be to just send one of the kids, like Jacob. Have you seen him play the drums? Talk about a child virtuoso, and I'm not being partial. He has blown us all away.
We will take your thought into consideration.
Thanks,

This year was the first year I saw Jacob on the drums. You are right about his talent. But, all the kids learn from thier talented parents and Uncles. I enjoyed the show this year , like always. Keep up the great work and it was great talking with you a the show. _________________ Julie |
